Maple Sasuki is his pre-arranged wife... she was born in September. She's also a persian. Maple Sasuki was named after a similar little friend in one of your stories: Souk-Souk. She's just as fiesty and I caught her the other day trying to jump up a wall. She's very affectionate and tried to stick her face into my mug last night. Both of these guys are tiny sizes (teacup and toy). Maple This is my beloved cat Spirit. I adopted him from the SPCA. I went there to look at a cat I had seen online, but the moment I saw him, I had to take him home. He has the most amazing eyes! One is the purest blue, and the other a dazzling green. He is my true familiar! And he is the most kind and gentle kitty, my children adore him. We are blessed. Teresa This is my beloved cat Spirit. I adopted him from the SPCA. Teresa This is Bullet he is my daughters baby he is the largest of the 8 fish we have in our 3500 gallon water garden... all of the fish except lucky are 3 years old (lucky is their offspring) i got these fish when they were the size of my pinky.Laura ~peach~ Diamond (the big white and yellow fish and Gill the only goldfish) (he believes he is the biggest baddest and will push all the others around .) Laura ~peach~ Goldie (goldielocks) and gizmo... gizmo should have been named stripe as he is always into mischief ... he has had to be rescued a couple times as he is the busy body who thinks the water is better on the other side... Laura ~peach~ Nugget (the smaller of the grey fish) and bogie the yellow and black. Laura ~peach~ All the bigger fish swimming about. we have one other fish his name is lucky he is half koi and half gold fish he was born here and does not come out in the day very much he hides inside the pipe till night... he is solid white with a huge fan tail and is about 6 inches long now... perhaps one day i will be able to get a shot of him. Laura ~peach~ One of the hundreds of dragon flies (damselflies) that love to visit our pond. Laura ~peach~ One of the better shots i got of one of the humming birds that come pose for my camera. Laura ~peach~ SQUIRT she is my neighbors 14 or 15 year old little terror, she loves to hang out at our house cause we hang out in the yard and of course all 5 two legged persons are suckers to her charm and she loves snacks....her favorite snack is FISH FOOD... when the fish are eating she has to have her share she will stand and speak to you until you give her some too. anyway, this is just a few of the THOUSANDS of pics i have taken of the critters and babies that hang out here... i have many of the squirrels and birds that frequent the feeders here in our back yard. hope you enjoy them as much as we do. Laura ~peach~ I rescued my Sexy Sadie from a breeder this past July 2001. She is 7 years old and is a sweetheart. I bring her to work with me, I have a bookstore is sunny Florida. In the evenings she cuddles with me on my recliner while I read. At bedtime she slithers under the covers with me. Her favorite foods are Burger King, bagels with cream cheese and of course HOT DOGS. It is a true joy to be owned by her. Susan This is Mango, an 8 year old Belgian Malinois female - well, perhaps 'bitch' is the better term... you see, Miss Mango rules the roost in our household - what she says goes - at least when it comes to my husband and other pets... as to her attitude towards me (a.k.a. the mama-dawg), the 'M' is very loyal, protective and sweet. I never tell my husband this, but if I were stuck on a deserted island, and could bring one companion, Mango would be it. Her intelligence, not to mention her tenacity when it comes to finding edibles, would be invaluable!
I personally think that a spunky Malinois would be the perfect companion in a Dara Joy tale - well, except if there were food items around... 'M' has been known to open up gas grills and steal the meat out of them while it was still cooking....~Sara Donadei-Blood Hi, I'd like to introduce you to Shaggy-(dog)dawg. He was just Shaggy when I brought him home, but as his personality came out, he became Shaggy-Dawg. I first met him as I walked through the mall. I had no intentions of buying a dog. I had just discovered an author, and I was headed to the bookstore to buy up the other books that this author had written. As I passed the pet store ,I saw this black and white fur ball. He jumped up and started barking. I went over to him and the clerk asked me if I wanted to hold him. I moved the fur away from his eyes, one brown eye, one blue. It was love at first sight. Needless to say, I didn't get the books that day but I did get a loving companion, My Shaggy-Dawg.
Maria Smith P.S. Oh, the author was Dara Joy of course!
