I’m happy to see that our favorite Charls and Familiars haven’t lost any of their sexy charm…or endearing arrogance. This novella was like catching up with old friends, I had a smile on my face the entire time I was reading. Deana is still her mischievous self and all of the characters that fans have come to know and love make an appearance. This satisfying short will sooth the nerves of even the most addicted Matrix of Destiny reader, and provide just enough fun to hold us over until Ms. Joy gives her loyal readers what they have been dying for, a new release. Okay, I’m going to admit it right off the bat. I don’t know if I am a blog kind of person but I am willing to give this thing a try since so many of you have requested it. The thing is, I feel as if I am walking into the middle of a one way conversation with myself. Not that there’s anything wrong with that- it just feels slightly odd. (Usually I walk into the end of a two way conversation with myself.) That being said, the answer is, “I am getting take out Chinese for us tonight.” So I am curious about you. How many of you like this format and what is the sexiest thing anyone has ever said to you? C’mon, spill it.

For those who haven’t heard, yes, Dorchester and I have reached a settlement agreement!!
I want to take this opportunity to thank the thousands upon thousands of readers who sent me their best wishes and letters of support. It was a long and difficult six and a half years and your kind words meant more than I can say. These letters often came on the days I needed them most and I will be forever grateful to all of you for that. It has always been a pleasure to write for you.
Although neither side can discuss the terms of the settlement, I am happily looking forward to bringing you the very best novels I can deliver.
